First, I want to start off by saying that I LOVE Halloween! It is my favorite holiday. I’m not entirely sure why this is the case. Maybe it is because I get to dress up like a Disney princess and no one think it is too strange. (Confession #1: I am a 27 year old woman who still dreams of being a Disney princess, Belle to be exact.) Maybe it is my love affair with candy. And a holiday devoted to such a treat is bound to be my favorite. (Confession #2: I have an unhealthy obsession with gummy bears. If I could live off gummy bears alone, I think my life would officially be complete ;) Whatever the reason, I love Halloween! And my house shows this fact. I may put up a decoration or two for most holidays. But for Halloween and Christmas, my house is transformed. I go all out! So today I thought that I would start to share some of the Halloween décor in my home.
Today I am sharing my Halloween mantel.
I started by laying down some spider web. Then I added the BOO letters. I picked these up at Jo Ann’s.
Then I recovered some old books in Halloween paper.
Then I created a Halloween tree from braches that I took from our plum tree in the backyard. These branches are adorned with cute pumpkin ornaments that I purchased at TJ Maxx a few years ago.
Then I printed out these bats on black paper. I cut them out, and I tapped them to our mirror.
And there you have it, our Halloween mantle.
And because I love Halloween so much, I have a ton of Halloween crafts to share with you this month! I’ve got trick or treat bags, Halloween pillows, a witches broom, napkin ring holders, spider web doily table runner, Pumpkin carving stencils, Halloween party ideas, plus I have to show you the rest of my home décor. Are you as excited for Halloween as I am?!
Also, have you downloaded our Halloween cupcake toppers? If not, you can download them here!
