The Apron Skirt

Since we are switching it up this week, I (Whitney) am crafting instead of couponing. I decided to make a skirt for my daughter, Kate. Just like Angela is unfamiliar with couponing, I am unfamiliar with sewing. It didn't take long before everything went wrong. I started off by measuring Kate. I don't know what happened, but the measurements were way off so the skirt turned out to be way too small. With Angela's help we added some more fabric.

Now you can wear it one way to look like a cute skirt...

...or you can wear it another way to look like an apron. Hence the name Apron Skirt.

It wasn't what I originally had in mind, but that is okay. I actually think it looks better!
